Eudora Mail Settings
1) Start the Eudora Program
2) Click the 'Tools' menu option.
3) Select ' Options’
4) Select the ' Getting Started ' icon.
5) In the box labeled ' Real name ' type your proper name. E.g. ' Your Name'.
6) In the box labeled ' Return address ' type your email address. E.g. ' username@yourdomain.com'
7) In the box labeled ' Mail Server (Incoming) ' type 'pop.kooobra.com '
8) In the box labeled ' Login Name ' type your POP Account ID, which is your email address with a . in place of the @ sign. E.g. 'user.domain.com'
9) In the box labeled ' SMTP Server (Outgoing) ' type the outgoing mail server of the company that provides your internet connection. If you're a Veraciti DSL or T1 customer that would be ' smtp.kooobra.com ' but only if you get your internet connection through Veraciti.
10) These settings should all follow through to all other icons, check to confirm
Netscape Mail Settings
1) Start up Netscape from wherever you have it installed on your computer.
2) Click 'Edit' on the menu bar.
3) Click 'Preferences' on the menu bar.
4) Double Click 'Mail & Newsgroups' on the menu tree
5) Select the 'Identity' option in the menu tree.
6) In the box labeled 'Your Name:' type your real name. e.g. John Smith
7) In the box labeled 'Email Address:' type your email address.
8) Select 'Mail Servers'.
9) Click the 'Add' button (be sure to delete any old email accounts).
10) A window titled 'Mail Server Properties' should appear.
11) Click the 'General' tab in the 'Mail Server Properties' window.
12) In the box labeled 'Server Name:' type 'pop.kooobra.com'
13) In the drop down box labeled 'Server Type' select POP3.
14) In the box labeled 'User Name:' type your POP account ID which is your email address with a . in place of the @. e.g. 'user.yourdomain.com'
15) Click the 'POP' tab.
16) Untick the 'Leave mail on server' checkbox.
17) Click the 'OK' button in the 'Mail Server Properties' window.
18) In the section labeled 'Outgoing Mail Server' in the box labeled 'Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:' type the outgoing mail server of the company that provides your internet connection. If you're a Veraciti DSL or T1 customer that would be ' smtp.kooobra.com ' but only if you get your internet connection through Veraciti.
19) In the box labeled 'Outgoing mail server user name:' type your outgoing mail server username. E.g. 'jsmith'
Outlook Express Mail Settings
1) Start the Outlook Express program.
2) Click the ' Tools ' menu bar option.
3) Select ' Accounts'. A window titled ' Internet Accounts ' should pop up.
4) Click the ' Mail ' tab.
5) If you haven’t already set up an account for mail click the ' Add ' button and proceed to step 6, otherwise:
5a) Choose ' Properties ' and enter your email address.5b) Select the 'Servers' tab and enter pop.kooobra.com in the ' Incoming Mail ' box.
5c) Enter the outgoing mail server of the company that provides your internet connection. If you're a Veraciti DSL or T1 customer that would be ' smtp.kooobra.com ' but only if you get your internet connection through Veraciti.
5d) Enter your POP Account ID which is your email address with a . in place of the @ sign. ( e.g. ' user.domain.com ' ) in the ' Account name ' box and password in the ' Password ' box and your settings are complete.
6) Select ' Mail '. A window should pop up titled ' Internet Connection Wizard
7) In the box labeled ' Display Name ' type your full name. E.g. ' John Smith '
8) Click the ' Next ' button.
9) In the box labeled ' Email address: ' type your email address. E.g. ' jsmith@yourdomain.com '
10) Click the ' Next ' button.
11) Select ' POP3 ' from the ' My incoming mail server is a: ' POP3 ' server drop down box.
12)In the box labeled ' Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server ' type: ' pop.kooobra.com
13) In the box labeled ' Outgoing mail (SMTP) server ' type the outgoing mail server of the company that provides your internet connection. If you're a Veraciti DSL or T1 customer that would be ' smtp.kooobra.com ' but only if you get your internet connection through Veraciti.
14) Click the ' Next ' button.
15) Select the ' Log on using ' option and then fill in the 2 boxes as follows.
16) In the box labeled ' POP account name ' type your POP Account ID. E.g. ' user.domain.com '
17) In the box labeled ' Password ' type in the usual password you log on with.
18) Click the ' Next ' button.
19) In the box labeled ' Internet mail account name ' type any friendly name you wish.
20) Click the ' Next ' button.
21) Select your connection method as appropriate
Microsoft Outlook Mail Settings
1) Start the Outlook program.
2) Click the ' Tools ' menu bar option.
3) Select ' Services'.
4) A window titled ' Services ' should pop up.
5) If you haven’t already set up an account for mail click the ' Add ' button and proceed to step 6, otherwise:
5a) Choose ' Properties ' and enter your email address under the ' General ' tab.
5b) Select the 'Servers' tab and enter pop.kooobra.com in the ' Incoming Mail ' box.
5c) Enter the outgoing mail server of the company that provides your internet connection. If you're a Veraciti DSL or T1 customer that would be ' smtp.kooobra.com ' but only if you get your internet connection through Veraciti.
5d) Enter your POP Account ID which is your email address with a . in place of the @. ( e.g. ' user.domain.com ' )in the ' Account name ' box and password in the ' Password ' box and your settings are complete.
6) Select ' Internet E-Mail '. A window should pop up titled ' Mail Account Properties '
7) Fill in these settings just as you would have above
